The IQTN hosted the European Tensor Network (ETN) Summer School and Workshop at Cosner’s House in Abingdon in September. The meeting brought together 82 post-grad and PhD students with more senior academics for an intensive week of lectures, research seminars and posters, and coding in the gardens.
From the basics of tensor network algorithms to their implementation on quantum computers and use in natural language processing, the ETN has played an important role over the past decade in forging the tensor network community across Europe and facilitating the development and exchange of a growing range of capabilities. The IQTN is pleased to have provided support in this endeavour.
